Grid Based Worlds and filling tiles using a tilemap (Post #3)

Creating grid based worlds Grids (or nodes) are an easy way to create the base for your game. Why? Simple! When you move around the world and you project your player position in comparison to an underlying grid you can easily implement collision, pathfinding, field of view, etc.

Welcome to all of my blog visitors, especially the VB Purists out there, that came to learn the true power of VISUAL BASIC when it comes to creating games! By VB purists I mean all the people who still code in any form of basic, (VB6 Hardcore purists, I'm sorry that this will be in .NET, I did make the change to it some years back. It was time.)
